Azure BI Functional Analyst

For one of our clients in Belgium, we are looking for an **Azure BI Functional Analyst **who will join our team.
**Location**:Gosselies (Hybrid)
**Languages**: French and English
**Employment Type**: Permanent or Freelance
**Start Date**: ASAP
**Context of the mission / Objective(s) of the job**
Azure BI Functional Analyst will join the team for the development, maintenance and support of BI solutions in Microsoft Azure environments, both on the corrective and evolutionary aspects. These BI solutions include, among others, DataVault 2.0 enterprise data warehouse, PowerBI dashboarding, and big data processing with Azure Synapse Analytics.
**Responsibilities**:
**Scoping phase**:
- Conducting workshops with business and IT stakeholders;
- Inventory of Measures/Indicators and KPIs;
- Inventory, Sources and Data Sets;
- Inventory, Reports and Dashboards to build the Requirements Matrix;
- Consolidation, challenge and rationalization of business demand based on collected inventories;
- Contribution to the development of the conceptual model(s) of Analytics data;
- Contribution to various deliverables, including IT risk analysis (Security & Privacy by Design);
- Contribution to the costing of the BI solution;
- Close collaboration with the data solution architect and other IT BAs.
**Delivery Phase (Design/Build/Implementation)**:
- Translation of business requirements into detailed functional specifications;
- Development of the logical data model(s);
- Support of the developer(s) throughout the Build phase;
- Creation of complex reports and dashboards (not supported by the Business);
- Testing of the developed solution;
- Support for business tests;
- Writing documentation for end users;
- Training of key users.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an analytics functional analyst (minimum 3 years)
- Basic knowledge of SQL
Proven experience using Microsoft PowerBI (minimum 3 years)
- Knowledge of Datavault modeling (minimum 2 years)
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud solutions
- Proven experience in reporting (need capture, design and build reports and KPIs)
- Ability to interpret and understand a BPMN diagram (Should)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology and user story development (Should)
- Proven experience in testing methodology and technique (integration & functional) (Should)
- Proven experience using SAP BO Information Design Tool (Nice to have)
- Level of French C2 and Level of English B1 on the European scale CEFR
