To strengthen our Group Finance team, based in Limelette, Belgium. We are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Junior CSRD & Finance Analyst (VIE).
About the role
The CSRD is the new European directive which modernizes and strengthens the rules concerning the social and environmental information that companies must report. EU rules require large companies and listed companies to publish regular reports on the social and environmental risks they face as well as their activities that impact people (Own Workforce, Workers in value chain, Consumers and End-users, Affected Communities) and environment (Climate Change, Pollution, Water and Marine Resources, Biodiversity, Resource valorization, Circular Economy).
As a Junior CSRD & Finance Analyst (VIE), you will report to our Group Overheads and HQ Controller and be part of the Group Finance Team. You will be responsible for implementing, supporting and developing the CSRD practices of the Group as a reliable business partner.
- Your role and responsibilities:
- Support the CSRD Project Leader through his/her preparation, analytical skills, surveys launch, database building, data collection.-
- Contribute to the Double Materiality Assessment which is the starting point for the CSRD implementation.-
- Develop strong collaboration and relationship among the Sustainability, Legal and Finance Teams.-
- Reach out to the internal and external stakeholders by launching surveys (survey preparation, data collection).-
- Build and maintain the database with the Key Indicators to be reported in the CSRD.-
- Maintain and improve guidelines and procedures.-
- Support the CSRD Tool implementation in collaboration with the Group IT team.-
- Provide support to the Group Finance Team (Reporting, Robotic Process Automation Implementation).About you:
- You are analytical, critical and accurate while able to keep a holistic/helicopter view and have strong analytical and financial modelling skills.-
- You have excellent communication skills at all management levels.-
- You are able to measure and track key business results and processes against reference and assess improvement and success in these terms.-
- You have excellent PC skills with emphasis on MS Excel and prior experience with large ERP systems is a plus.-
- You are looking for hands-on experience, eager to learn and foster teamwork.You have a positive and proactive attitude.-
- Professional proficiency in English is a must, French or any other language is a plus.About the VIE Program
