**_ The Role:_**:
As a Senior Localisation Influencing Adviser for Oxfam Great Britain (OGB) within the Rights, Resilience and Response (RRR) team and workstream, you will focus on localisation in the conflict-affected and fragile space. Your primary purpose would be to lead the identification and delivery of policy, practice and behavioural change initiatives related to UK government policy on localisation in fragile and conflict-affected settings and its relation to global conversations on localisation. Additionally, you would provide support for country and regional influencing activities related to localisation in such contexts.

**_ What we are looking for:_**:
**Experience**:

- Relevant experience working in conflict and fragile contexts in the international development or humanitarian sector, with a focus on localisation, influencing and advocacy.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing successful influencing initiatives in conflict and fragile contexts, including engaging with government officials, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders.
- Proven experience in policy analysis and advocacy related to localisation in conflict and fragile contexts, including on official development assistance, Localisation and the triple Nexus.

**Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of localisation in conflict and fragile contexts and the current debates and discussions in the field.
- Good understanding of the humanitarian-development-peace Nexus and how localisation fits within this framework.

**Competencies**:

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for influencing and advocacy related to localisation in conflict and fragile contexts.
- Having the ability to articulate complex issues to a variety of audiences, including policymakers, civil society organizations, and the media.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in conflict and fragile contexts.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to Oxfam’s values and mission, including gender equality and social justice
