The global operating division Performance Materials with its headquarter at the BASF Belgium Coordination Center bundles BASF's competencies in innovative plastics. It provides customer-oriented solutions for industries like automotive, construction, packaging, electrics and electronics, sports, footwear, wind and solar energy.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
As an intern of the global communications team, you contribute to the internal and external communication of BASF's Performance Materials division.
- With your creativity, you will support the planning, design and implementation of a wide range of communication activities related to BASF plastics, both online and offline.
- You will write web copy and press releases, research topics for internal as well as external communications, and develop campaigns for our communication channels.
- You will be part of a working group to engage employees with sustainability topics.
- You will assist in developing presentations for internal and external audiences.
- In this role, you will manage internal and external service providers, working closely with our product management and marketing team.
- Furthermore, you will gain insight into the processes of a global player and have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in close cooperation with our experts.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- You are preferable a student in journalism, marketing, communications, languages or another related field.
- Writing is your passion. A first experience in the field of communication or journalism is a plus.
- You are fluent in speaking and writing in English.
- You are able to work autonomously.
