We are currently looking for a Business Controller for one of our client active in the logistics industry and located in Brussels.
In addition to its headquarters in Brussels, this company is located across 5 other countries throughout Europe. Fully dedicated to their mission, this team of specialists strive for change and development within the logistics sector. By working with our client you will join an open-minded and friendly team where fun and work go hand to hand and where you’re more than welcome to give your ideas and participate in the improvement of the finance processes.
Moreover, you’ll get the chance to work in a fast-growing and international structure with many ambitions while evolving rapidly from a Senior to a Business position in a flexible work environment that respects inclusivity, equality and diversity.
As a Business Controller, you will join a team of 15 passionate people and get the chance to occupy a broad function giving you the chance to impose yourself as a Business Partner while having many responsibilities over reporting, financial planning & analysis and process/project management.
Our client is open to integrate a more junior profile with 1 to 2 years of experience in Business Controlling/Auditing or someone more experienced.
**Function**:
- Prepare rigorous financial and business related analysis (profitability,)
- Provide ad hoc business analyses
- Handle executive reporting and audit procedures
- Establish the monthly/annuel budget and forecast as well as strategic business plans
- Support the accounting team in monthly and year-end closing
- Participate in the optimization, automatization and improvement of processes
**Profile**:
- Degree in accounting, economics or business administration
- Our client is open to integrate junior or senior profiles as long as you have at least 1 year of experience in the controlling/audit domain
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French and a good knowledge of English
- Curious and solution-oriented, you enjoy finding ways to optimize procedures in order to make them more efficient
- You have a proactive attitude with a rigorous and analytical mindset
- You are known for being a friendly and fun person to work with. Ambiance at work is extremely important for you
