**About the position**:
**SQUARIS** is seeking to hire a proactive, enthusiastic and results-oriented professional to join our team to develop policies and communication activities in EU funded projects in the domain of crisis management and critical communications.
The Policy & Communication Officer will support the team with the implementation and communication activities of several critical EU funded projects (Horizon 2020 and ISF projects).
We are looking for an experienced person with a sound educational and professional background.

**Your Tasks**:
Your tasks:
- Contribute to the development of policy, recommendations, white papers;
- Contribute to the advocacy of these positions near EU or International organisations and Member States authorities
- Definition of communication strategies and support in project communication and dissemination activities (presentations, social media posts, newsletters, articles communication materials)
- Create, deliver and monitor communication strategies for EU-funded projects (mainly Research & Development field)
- Maintain and assist in the creation of websites (experience in CMS such as WordPress and Joomla);
- Create small videos, editing videos
- Design and distribute engaging and modern communication materials (newsletters, flyers, infographics
- Build and maintain relationships with specialised and general media
- Create social media profiles for the projects and regularly post engaging content;
- Organisation and supervision of conferences at all stages (promotion, logistics, registrations, communication with different parties).
Your skills:
- Very high level of spoken and written English (C2 level is a +);
- Experience in maintaining and creating website content (experience with WordPress is a +);
- Social media/community manager (especially Linked In);
- Project management skills (Experience in working with EU projects is a +);
- Event management skills (experience is a +);
- Must be able to travel on a regular basis;
- Be an excellent editor and be competent in writing papers and preparing campaigns for different communication channels;
- Be multi-tasker and be hands-on; Proven experience from 3 to 5 year; Experience in the fields of work is a +.
**Your Interest**: you will work in a European environment with an international team of experts and have the possibility to gain valuable experiences and get responsibilities. You will get involved with EU / international organizations and Member State authorities.
Our office is located in the EU quarter in Brussels, very easy to reach.
