**The Role**
As **Key Account Manager** Belux** for the centralized **Petrol & Tobacconist** accounts, your role will be to support the growth of our brands by implementing effective key account management strategies.
**Principal Accountabilities**
- Analyze and evaluate the performance of our company and competitors at key accounts
- Proactively identify and quantify opportunities for business growth
- Develop and implement a Centralized Retail strategy and business plan, ensuring that volume and profit objectives are met efficiently
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and evaluations with clients
- Develop business relationships with all decision makers in the major accounts
- Negotiate the optimum terms and conditions with each key account and annually renegotiate if necessary
- Collate and analyze data from reports in order to identify weaknesses and opportunities
- Implement Trade Marketing "Best Practice" by ensuring realization of all opportunities in relevant areas, such as in-store development, market research and direct product profitability
- Responsible for detailed pre and post analyses and evaluation on all activities
- Keep consistent communication with field managers, making sure all team members are fully informed of objectives, progress & future action plans in order to maximise the results
- Participate in the cycle planning process to ensure planned retail chain activities are taken up internally and executed correctly
- Establish and monitor internal budgets with the company and external budgets with clients
- Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives to internal stakeholders
- Understand and analyze the needs of your client and offer them appropriate solutions
**Skills and Experience Required**
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is essential
- Proficiency in commercial mathematics, including calculating margins, volumes and ROI
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to build strong relationships
- Strong analytical skills
- IT skills at advanced level
- Minimum requirement of 3 days per week in the office
- Willingness to travel frequently to visit clients and/or participate in field visits in Belgium and Luxembourg
- Tenacity in negotiations
