**Senior Treasury Manager**
Etex Group Treasury is based in Brussels and has the global responsibility for the group’s cash & liquidity management, short-term & long-term funding, currency & interest rate risk management, bank relationship & account management, group external and internal financing, international cash investment management and credit rating agencies contacts, while it is also involved in other activities such as commodity risk management and M&A deal support and integration. It is closely involved in the group’s broader corporate financial management and is delivering added value services and acting as a partner to the business worldwide.
Based in Brussels, this senior treasury profile will be joining a 5-member treasury team. He/she will report to, and closely work with the Group Treasury Manager and Head of Group Treasury and Corporate Finance. This function interacts regularly with people from group companies that are present on the 5 continents where Etex is active, with other corporate functions such as Controlling, Legal and Tax, as well as with outside business partners such as banks, auditors, and treasury consultants. The Senior Treasury Manager will be co-managing two treasury and cash managers and covering a broad range of activities.
- Cash & liquidity and bank account management:_
- manage the group’s bank accounts; issue RFI/RFP’s to banks and service providers, negotiate and implement improved and extended cash management structures, terms and conditions; analyse, negotiate and report bank fees and address quality issues
- be the point of contact with banks for all non-operational cash & liquidity management topics
- oversee and act as backup for the daily cash & liquidity management at group level
- oversee and act as backup for the global multicurrency intercompany netting system
- support the local entities in any cash & liquidity management topic when and where needed.
- Risk management (foreign exchange (“FX”), interest rate (“IR”) and commodities):_
- analyse & support presentations on more complex ad-hoc FX exposure situations
- analyse & support presentations on IR hedging opportunities
- support and advice the business in its commodity hedging activities (when needed)
- assist the Group Treasurer in its contacts with banks relating to FX and IR risk management
- oversee and act as backup for the centralized daily foreign exchange hedging activities
- perform fair market value and effectiveness testing evaluations.
- Funding:_
- support the Group Financing Committee in analysing the most appropriate financing means from a combined treasury, tax and legal perspective
- support the Group Treasurer for external group financing initiatives; analyse attractiveness of local vs. central funding, monitor & assist the local entities in obtaining local financing
- monitor and act as backup in providing the internal credit facilities and intercompany loans and deposits while ensuring compliance with transfer pricing methodology
- monitor the group’s net financial charges and forecast evolution
- support in the contacts with credit rating agencies.
- Ad-hoc Project management & other activities_
- act as project manager for important treasury projects (e.g. new Treasury Management System, cash forecasting & reporting tool, reverse factoring, treasury KPI’s, eBAM,)
- manage the treasury integration of acquired companies; carveout entities that are divested
