Miraclon, is a leading global provider of printing products for the global packaging sector. It sells flexographic imaging equipment, printing plates, consumables, related services and software which enable graphic customization of a wide variety of packaging materials. Miraclon was previously a division of The Eastman Kodak Company and was purchased and carved-out of KODAK by Montagu, Private Equity Investment firm in April 2019.
**Position Description**:
The Group Commercial Controller is part of our global finance team. The position will be embedded next to the Group Accounting, Consolidation, Taxes and Treasury Functions.
Group Commercial Controlling is split in Commercial (Sales & Services) and Regional Controlling with an international workforce working globally, and its tasks are currently maturing and widening.
You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and the position is based in HQ Brussels, Belgium, your team consists of one Junior Sales Controller and 4 Regional Finance Managers in our geographic present regions.
**Further responsibilities**:
- You will lead the Commercial Controlling cycle from Actuals to Forecast, Budgeting and Strategic Planning, but as well ad-hoc Analysis & Business Cases for our Product offerings.
- You will analyze sales and margin data & trends split over different product lines, sales channels and regions.
- You will Improve business performance by identifying trends and implementing countermeasures together with other departments and the commercial management team.
- You will support development and implementation of an effective pricing strategy that balances revenue growth & competitiveness.
- You will be responsible of your team, aiding their development, helping them to achieve their challenging goals
- You will collaborate with our commercial teams to review customer contracts/agreements in light of financial objectives and risk management.
- You will help us leverage our single ERP and develop reporting with JEDOX and POWERBI as key user.
- You will be asked to support key projects to help drive performance and improve business processes.
- You will be always welcome to look with an analytical, critical eye at the business performance, business processes and prepare in-depth analysis for senior management in a cohesive and integer matter.
**Your profile**:
- Master’s degree in business controlling, accounting, finance, economics or mathematical science or related field.
- 10 years’ experience in an international business / commercial controlling environment
- Experience with people management
- Ability to work hands on in a fast paced environment. You need to be able to multi-task and have follow-through and should be comfortable with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Working experience with teams in a global environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills being able to influence senior management
