Collections Analyst Emea

**Description & Qualifications**:
Description
- Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
- Initiate monthly reminders/statement process and diligent follow up to ensure timely resolution
- Proactively work with the key account customers to actively resolve any outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
- Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
- Regular inter-departmental meetings to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
- Prepare files for transfer to the Debt Recovery Dept.
- Analyze and report on collection status & Progress.
- Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the Firm
- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 1 to 3 years of experience in credit & collections
- Competence in Microsoft Office products. Knowledge Oracle database is an asset.
- Works well both independently and in a team
- Continuously strives to acquire and develop related business knowledge.
