As a Business Data analyst, you’ll support data-informed decision making. Your responsibilities will be the following:
- **Data Collection and Cleansing**: Identify and gather relevant data from various sources, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and completeness. Conduct data cleansing and transformation to prepare the data for analysis.
- **Data Integration**: Create requirements for integrating data (as well as workflows to maintain those data) into ServiceNow & validate the correct implementation of those requirements by external developers.
- **Data Analysis and Interpretation**: Perform advanced data analysis using various tools and techniques to identify patterns, anomalies, gaps. Extract key insights and present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
- **Data Modelling and Visualization**: Develop data models and visualizations to present complex information in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand manner. Use tools such as Excel, or Power BI to create dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations.
- **Activity Monitoring and Reporting**: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop regular reports to track business performance. Identify trends and anomalies and provide insights on areas for improvement or optimization.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts and findings to stakeholders across the organization. Collaborate with different teams to align data analysis initiatives with business objectives.
This role requires a strong blend of business skills, analytical skills, and technical expertise.
- Previous practical experience (at least 5 years) as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Ability to present data in the form of packs, rapports, graphs, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- **Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or MS SQL**:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, ClickView or similar.
- Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand and translate business requirements into data analysis tasks.
- Knowledge & previous practical experience with ServiceNow (especially CMDB, IRM & ITSM modules),
- Knowledge and/or past experience in financial domain and Information Security is a plus
