Meer dan 2000 professionals omarmen bij Smals elke dag de toekomst door zich in te zetten voor ICT for Society. Hoogtechnologische ICT-systemen zorgen voor meer efficiëntie in de belangrijke sociale verantwoordelijkheidsdomeinen van onze klanten zoals werk, gezin en gezondheid. Het eHealthplatform, een beveiligd uitwisselingsplatform voor medische informatie, zal papieren doktersbriefjes en doktersvoorschriften op termijn overbodig maken. Daarnaast zorgt de ICT-service Dimona er voor dat de RSZ de sociale bescherming van 4 miljoen werknemers snel kan laten evolueren, ongeacht hoe snel ze van job veranderen. Handig? Jazeker, en uitdagend ook.
**Functiebeschrijving**
Als Linux System Administrator maak je deel uit van het team dat verantwoordelijk is voor de ondersteuning van de Legacy-toepassingen die zijn ontwikkeld rond de softwaresuite Software AG (ADABAS, NATURAL, COBOL) en van nieuwe JAVA-toepassingen die gebruikmaken van de historische gegevens onder Adabas. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de ondersteuning, de technische ontwikkeling en het dagelijkse beheer van dit geïntegreerde platform.
Je komt tussen als expert voor de Linux-omgeving en ontwikkelt en onderhoudt de verschillende scripts en configuraties van de omgeving. Je beheert, onderhoudt en configureert de tools van Software AG (Adabas, Natural, SQL-gateway, Applinx). Je neemt daarenboven initiatieven die ervoor zorgen dat de werking en de opvolging van de dagelijkse handelingen zo veel mogelijk geautomatiseerd worden. Je neemt deel aan de implementatie van deze oplossing op de G-Cloudomgeving (gecontaineriseerde componenten draaien op RedHat OpenShift).
Je neemt deel aan de verschillende aspecten van het beheer van de omgeving in samenwerking met de andere productie
- en ontwikkelteams: optimaal beheer van het systeem, analyse van de incidenten en problemen, systeembeheer voor de gebruikers, analyse en programmering van tools die het gebruik vereenvoudigen, onderhoud van de bestaande tools, bijwerking van de documentatie, inlichten van de gebruikers over de nieuwe versies of wijzigingen,...
Tot slot deel je de wachtdienst met andere teamleden om het vereiste beschikbaarheidsniveau voor deze zeer kritieke toepassingen te garanderen.
**Profiel**
Je hebt een bachelordiploma en beschikt over een eerste ervaring in het domein van het onderhoud van een Linux-omgeving. Een ervaring in het opstellen van scripts (Shell, Python, PHP) is een pluspunt.
Ervaring met de softwaresuite Software AG (Natural, ADABAS, SQL Gateway, Natural One) en met Cobol-ontwikkeling onder Linux (Microfocus Cobol) is een troef. Zoniet sta je klaar om een opleiding te volgen en beschik je over een goed autodidactisch vermogen.
Kennis van cloud-omgevingen (Containers, RedHat OpenShift) en toegangsmechanismen via API's (Web Services) is vereist voor deze functie; deze kennis kan worden opgedaan als je er nog niet over beschikt.
Je hebt een aanpassingsvermogen dat je in staat stelt om inventief te zijn en oplossingen voor te stellen en snel te implementeren in dit soort omgevingen.
Je kan een onderzoek (loglezing, onderzoek naar event sequences) voeren in een heterogene omgeving. Je kan op gestructureerde en beknopte wijze een analyse en aanbeveling opstellen.
Je communiceert vlot, past jezelf gemakkelijk aan je gesprekspartner aan en geeft blijk van verantwoordelijkheidszin.
Je hebt een passieve kennis van het Frans.
Je begrijpt technische teksten (documentatie, uitwisseling met de supportentiteiten van leveranciers) in het Engels.
