**Function: IT Client Management Officer**:
In your role, you ensure that the IT Client Management policy is in line with the strategic objectives of the organisation and that it remains in line with technological developments.
Your core tasks and responsibilities include developing, defending and following up the IT Client Management roadmap, including:
IT Service Delivery:
- Directing the IT support and service desk activities both internally and by external partners.
Licence and asset management
- Determining and monitoring used (Microsoft
- Follow up and guide asset management, license management and lease management (a.o. Microsoft environment, incl. Teams, Sharepoint, Azure...)
Workplace architecture
- Developing and monitoring the workplace infrastructure and user environment, including mobile equipment strategy (mobile phones, tablets, devices in production such as hand scanners, etc.) and the further integration of telephony with Microsoft platforms and systems (e.g. Teams).
Project and programme management
- Incorporating improvement projects and change programmes according to best practices and applicable IT governance processes.
IT Governance
- Optimising and monitoring the internal governance and methodology (e.g. project management, change management) and increasing its maturity within the organisation.
**Profile: IT Client Management Officer**:
- You have a university degree or equivalent background through experience.
- You can look back on relevant experience as a Service Delivery Manager or Project Manager, or in a similar role.
- You have a thorough knowledge and practical experience with modern Microsoft environments (O365, Azure Cloud, Active Directory...).
- You are able to define and communicate a vision and you are able to manage a team of 3 to 10 people (internal + external)
- Your project management experience allows you to plan and follow up budgets (opex/capex)
- You have relevant experience in managing and/or collaborating with external partners and service providers
- Your strong communication skills help you to ask the right questions, defend your points of view, enthuse people, but also to listen to what others say.
- You can build good relationships with colleagues, management, external partners, etc.
- You can communicate technical material in an understandable way and convince where necessary
- You can assess the risks in situations and analyse their probability and impact.
- Your proactivity and pragmatic attitude enable you to detect problems and propose concrete and workable solutions for the organisation.
- Experience with IT Governance is a strong asset.
