Transport is the climate delinquent of the EU economy. Where all other sectors' emissions have gone down, transport is still polluting more and more. Luckily the solution is here: zero-emission vehicles. But where will all these cars and trucks charge? T&E’s work focuses on creating a sufficient public and private charging network across Europe for light
- and heavy-duty vehicles, that is affordable and to which all Europeans have equitable access.

**Expected tasks**:
**Core tasks**
- Support T&Es (advocacy) work on charging infrastructure, with a focus on European as well as national policies;
- Coordinate and liaise with T&E’s national offices (FR, DE, IT, ES, PL, UK) and member NGOs all across Europe;
- Commissioning and delivering impactful research tailored to the needs of T&E’s charging infrastructure work;
- Support T&E’s growing work on EV-integration (on bi-directional charging and electricity grids)
- Drafting concise and informative communication materials like position papers, blogs and internal briefings
- Build and maintain good contact with policy-makers, researchers and T&E networks working on the ground across Europe;
- Be responsible for the organisation of events (both online and in person)
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement

**Additional tasks**
- Attend events and meetings with stakeholders, reporting back to the team when relevant
- Provide research support, working with our internal team of data analysts
- Analysing policy proposals (e.g. amendments) by the European Parliament, member states and stakeholders and developing arguments to steer these closer towards T&E’s position

**Required skill sets**:

- Interest in and good understanding of EU policy making process and EU environment, climate, energy and transport policies
- Proactive and eagerness to learn and grow into the role
- Willing to play a supporting role to colleagues, and open and able to take the lead on policy at a later stage
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven proficiency to write professional material in English
