Safety & Quality Junior Ambassador for Production_**

Develops and implements company policies, plans and professional standards, meeting any changes to legal or operational requirements.
**In this role you will**
- Responsible for the effectiveness of the Deviation and CAPA processes (lean and efficient)
- Co-responsible with the Head of Prod for the progressive reduction of deviations through adequate root cause analysis and implementation of effective CAPAs
Ensure adequate Key Performance Indicators and processes ( i.e. tier meeting, deviation review board, WPM ) are in place and in use to monitor, track, and drive progress with respect to i.e. human errors, recurrent deviations, deviation overdue, CAPA overdue, CAPA efficiency and CAPA effectiveness checks
- Escalade risks, problems, proposing action plans to Leadership Management Team for decisions regarding deviations & CAPA
- Analyse, coordinate coaching or mentoring based on individuals’ needs and business requirements, i.e. new standards, transversal procedure, etc.
- Evaluate applicability of best practices (deviations & CAPA) within the Head of Prod area and provide pro-active feedback for their implementation and use
- Be the local operational expert of the deviation and CAPA process and act as a coach for “deviation fronter” during inspections
- Actively contribute to driving cultural change, building up of capabilities and continuous improvement within the Head of Prod area
- Actively benchmark local practices (not included in Best Practices package) with other MPU/SPU ), activate the network to anticipate changes/trends
- Acts as a consultant, reviews facilities and manufacturing processes for potential safety risks
- Develops and monitors implementation of training and education programmes for safety compliance strategies and various regulatory requirements in a manufacturing safety
- Monitors the adherence to guidelines and policies
- Monitors the adherence to constructional and operational fire protection regulations
- SPOC for Data integrity in his production area
**Additional Specific roles**:
**Responsible for deviation**
- Train & mentor on the job (cfr 70% on the job development of the GSK leadership development framework) the new employees or new persons in the deviation role or any person in this role, initiator, manager, QA
- Evaluate the performance management and deviation efficiency, make results visible through KPI’s
- Support for specific deviation management approach (e.g.Human errors, complex investigation )
**Responsible for CAPA ( or accountable in case of delegation)**
- Support the continuous improvement of CAPA plans and tasks within MPU/SPU
- Train mentor on the job (cfr 70% on the job development of the GSK leadership development framework) the new employees or new persons in a CAPA owner role
Challenge specific CAPAs linked to recurrent situation
**Responsible for root cause analysis ( or accountable in case of delegation)**
Check CAPA effectiveness based on tight root cause determined in related deviations
Guarantee the RCA expertise transfer efficiently through adequate training, mentoring & coaching activities
- Train all new persons to RCA tools in collaboration with MPU/SPU Operational Excellence
**Responsible for Employees on Health and safety**:

- Assist the EHS managers in assuring sites compliance in Blgium regulations and GSK Policies and standards, minimizing industrial risks and preventing occupational injuries
- Perform risks analysis for new products, processes dans projects
- Promote a prevention culture amongs the organization
- Review new capital investments (regarding EHS aspects) and advise the project managers
- Issue EHS procedures and specifications
- Analyse incidents, first aids, accidents, spills and propose preventive corrective actions
- Demonstrates fluency in spoken and written English
