Our client is a fast-growing company active in the **medical device sector**.

As** Finance Manager **you will be **responsible** for:
**Accounting**:

- Timely preparation of monthly management accounts of the Benelux legal entities (Belgium and NL)
- Prepare annual financial statements and supporting documentation for external auditors;
**Financial Planning & Analysis**

Be the business partner for the Benelux business and EMEA support functions (mainly Supply chain):

- Provide monthly variance analysis (Actual versus Forecast, Budget and Prior Year)
- Lead planning, budget, forecasting, reporting, analysis and monitoring processes to support attainment of financial and non-financial metrics and support our business growth;
- Provide management with the necessary analytical framework, both quantitative and qualitative, for the business decision-making process;
- Manage the P&L to maximize the EBIT and meet the Corporate expectation;
- Perform special projects as requested by management or be involved in Corporate initiatives driving growth and efficiency;
- Provide general advice to company and employees on accounting, payroll and tax issues;
**Fiscal**
- Ensure continuing compliance with Belgium & Dutch tax and reporting regulations;
- Oversee activities performed by external accountant and consultant (Preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns; Intrastat return)

**Payroll & Benefits**
- Supervising the preparation of monthly payroll done by the HR admin and Social Secretariat
- Administration of Group Personal Pension Scheme;
**Treasury**

Management of the cash for the entities in relation with the Corporate team;
**Other Tasks**:

- Maintain statutory employers liability insurance and arrange suitable cover for vehicles;
- Computers, building and contents, employee travel and goods in transit;
- Administration of Group Life, Disability and Dependants insurance policies;
- Coordinate legal aspects and contracts;
- Ensure compliance with company expense and benefits policy and manage the expense report of the Benelux team.

The required **profile** for the **Finance Manager **position:

- Accounting and/or Finance University degree required;
- Certified Public Accountant or experience in Audit;
- +10 years experience and demonstrated skill in both Belgium/ Dutch accounting, finance and administration;
- Proficient in Accounting techniques;
- Experience with US GAAP;
- Language : English;
- IT tools;
- Knowledge of ERP system (Oracle, SAP), Consolidation Tool (Hyperion, Cartesis, OneStream);
- Proficiency in Excel;
- High ethical values, honesty and integrity;
- Meticulous, numerate and detail-oriented;
- Strong analytical/strategic thinker and creative problem solver, ability to synthesize complex concepts into understandable business solutions in order to take decision;
