In order to fulfill their further ambitions towards growth & expansion, sustainability and diversification they are currently strengthening their Commercial Real Estate Department by engaging a Development Manager Real Estate (Commercial).

**Jobomschrijving**:
As Development Manager Real Estate you are responsible for the further development of the airport premises into an economic center in order to boost its commercial performance and securing the best airport in Europe. You are in the driving seat to shape the real estate portfolio and land area of the second largest economic center of Belgium

The program includes the (re-)development and/ or refurbishment of a wide scope of various projects and areas, such as:

- MRO (maintain/repair/overhaul) facilities
- Aviation hangars
- Office buildings and related services
- Business aviation activities
- Mobility infrastructure
- And all related city and/or airport functionalities to enable the airport community

Together with the Director Commercial Real Estate and your colleagues, you have the responsibility to shape the airport area. You will be part and lead the development of the Real Estate masterplan of the airport, followed by securing the design, commercialization and execution of it. You take into account the needs of the clients to ensure a first class customer experience and delivers award winning, innovative real estate projects
- You will contribute to the set-up and implementation of the strategic and tactical plan of the Real Estate Department and translate this into a concrete action plan for the diverse range of commercial real estate projects.
- You keep abreast of the needs of BAC’s commercial partners and translate these into concrete real estate projects and/ or plans.
- From the first feasibility study until the provision of the project you coordinate and make sure the program is conducted within the predetermined scope, time and budget.
- During specific redevelopment and refurbishment projects you are responsible for the reallocation and/or reaccommodating of the clients, in order to minimize the impact on their daily activities.
- You will manage all the key stakeholders of this program: a consortium of architectural and engineering firms, Quantity & Quality Surveyor and a wide range of internal BAC departments, etc. You also oversee the cooperation with the various external stakeholders (customers, governments, etc.).
- You assure effective stakeholder management through active participation in different cross-departmental meetings, both in
- and external, that may impact the development of commercial real estate. Through solid interaction and communication, you ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
- You manage, coach and motivate your project & cross functional team (Project Managers, Financial Controllers, Master Planning, Legal, etc.) in order to achieve the common goal: realizing BAC's real estate ambitions.
- You are responsible for preparing and presenting investment proposals to Senior Management and the Management Committee
- You report directly to the Director Real Estate.

- You obtained a Master Degree or equivalent through relevant experience and combine this with a solid track record of a minimum of 10 years within real estate/real estate development.
- Over the years you have built a broad and relevant network within the Real Estate Industry.
- You have a vast experience in the development of various types of real estate project of a substantial size.
