**Function**:
**Roles and Responsibilities**
The Sourcing associate will provide administrative and general office support to the European sourcing team.
The Sourcing associate will act as the intermediary of between Sourcing and Transactional procurement team, Sourcing and Vendors, as well as assist in workflow with the Accounts payable.
The Sourcing associate is responsible:
- Assist Sourcing team with Contracts creation and management (update of validity, update of prices and purchase conditions) in NLMK IT system;
- Assist Sourcing team with sourcing of new articles (sending requests to suppliers, tracking replies, providing replies to sourcing person for decision, entering results of decision in NLMK IT system); communicate with Masterdata for entering information from suppliers in material master;
- Assist Sourcing team with vendor relations, including but not limited to, new vendor registration, vendor evaluation;
- Assist Sourcing team with resolving issues linked to blocked invoices that impacts vendor relationships;
- Requests to appropriate individual/department for response in relation with reservations, purchase requisitions and good receipts. Following up and providing any coordination necessary to ensure response occurs in timely, efficient manner;
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned in the domain of procurement

**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and quality of work;
- Ability to be results-oriented, taking initiative to make things happen, accept accountability, and have a "can do" attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. oral and written communication skills, presentation skills)
- Able to write and speak French & English
- Knowledge of SAP (nice to have)
- Ability to learn new software(s) and follow procedures
