To strengthen our **Development and Clinical Supply team**, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of **Head of Clinical Vendor Management
- External Packaging and Distribution** based in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium.

**You like to work in an environment where**:

- You will ensure timely and efficient supply of IMP’s to all compounds and related clinical trials with Development and Clinical supply involvement.
- You will define and drive implementation global end-to-end distribution processes best practices for transport and storage network management
- You will develop team knowledge and expertise, ensuring succession planning
- You will connect and influence key stakeholders within and outside S&TS to drive reliable deliveries from DSC and recognized expertise
- You will be accountable to connect with GDSL team to understand clinical trials pipeline and to establish / improve external supply strategy for DSC, supporting anticipated business needs
- You will be accountable for vendor management strategy for Clinical Packaging & Distribution vendors
- You will also be accountable for Clinical Trials external packaging and distribution budget (~ €25 Millions)
- You will have full line management responsibility (leadership, direction, delegation, performance management, development and resourcing) for a group of staff

**Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills**:

- You have 10 years of relevant and working experience in international pharmaceutical supply chain management and/or proven supply chain expertise
- You have a team leader experience and vendor management exposure - preferably with Clinical packaging and distribution
- You have working knowledge in GMDP and cold chain distribution; Knowledge Clinical Trial environment.
- Fluency in English, French is an asset, any other language is a plus
- You have excellent communication skills: verbal and written; proven interpersonal, facilitation, stakeholders relations and negotiation skills
- You have very good presentation skills
- You are able to work under pressure and within an international environment.
- You have the ability to work without direct supervision and manage multiple global and complex environment
- You are flexible
- You will actively manage the performance of the team, providing recognition, constructive feedback, direction and corrective measures where required
- You will foster team-working and a collaboration environment with stakeholder functions
- You will encourage and actively supports individual development of team members, Proactively consulting HR, reward and develop staff
- You are analytical (Structured and Organized)

- You are patient & stakeholder centric
- You have good IT Skills - Systems proficiency (TrackWise, SAP, MS Office)
- You can address areas for improvements, propose creative solutions, and support the development and implementation of improvements
- You have the ability to identify risks and mitigation of risks, define and scope a problem, identify root causes and select best solution
