**Your Role and Responsibilities**
"The department manager will have the responsibility to Build, Motivate and Manage a team that is successful in IT projects services business:
- Share information and assign work to employees while ensuring to link the goals of the department and organisation to Kyndryl's strategy and market performance.
- Accept accountability for business results including meeting client satisfaction, productivity, financial, and other business measurements.
- Lead or participate in organization planning, providing leadership and support to ensure that business objectives are met.
- Foster teamwork and inclusion across organizations, cultures and geographies - and promote Kyndryl's diversity and inclusive leadership and Kyndryl Values. Support activities and projects involving cross-functional teams which contribute to Kyndryl success.
- Provide employees feedback to improve performance. Establish clear performance expectations and hold people accountable for results. Recognize contributions by employees and teams.
- Lead by example in all activities. Lead in a manner that enhances Kyndryl's climate and business results.
- Support change, encourage employees to innovate, evaluate suggestions, and remove obstacles to implementation.
- Assure employee equity and encourage employee growth and opportunity.
- Advise and coach employees to help them develop their skills and capabilities to best meet their career desires and current or future business needs.
- Execute processes for the normal operation of employee programs. Analyze and interpret new situations. Resolve complex problems independently or through the management of others.
- People Manager job role has considerable latitude in responsibilities to define and determine processes, priorities and resources following general business unit, country or regional directives."
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Broad, multi-discipline, enterprise IT experience to deliver customer centric solutions that improve the customers business experience.
- Experience in creating teams & leading with passion for the people
- Strong knowledge & experience in one of the following domains:
1. Cloud Solution Experience (e.g. Azure, AWS)
2. Technical knowledge of Mobile Device Management / Enterprise Mobility Management (e.g. Intune, MobileIron, Workspace One, MaaS360, JAMF Now)
3. In-depth knowledge and experience working with legacy operating system deployment and management solutions (e.g. SCCM, MEM, MDT, ADK, IEM, Matrix42)
4. Knowledge and experience with automation and automated approaches for migration, desktop configuration, Server Configuration, and Cloud Service / Tool Configuration, and Reporting (e.g. VBScript, PowerShell, JSON, USMT, Azure Cloud Shell, Bash, zsh, Python, AWS Shell, Google Cloud Shell, IBM Cloud Shell)
5. Application Assessment/Rationalization/Remediation experience
6. Knowledge of networking for the purposes of operating system deployment strategy and design
7. knowledge of Server & Workplace Virtualization Solutions (e.g. VMware vSphere, VMware ESXi, VMware Horizon, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenServer, Windows Virtual Desktop, App-V, Hyper-V)
- and basic knowledge in at least two of the other domains
- fluent in English
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of Experience in IT Consultancy
- In dept Knowledge of Application Management is a plus
- People Management experience
- Good communication skill
- Strong Organization skill
- conversation skills in Dutch & French
