For our client in Puurs, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant to play a role in the finance department. The objective of the finance team is to support the business, to optimize financial processes and to exceed customers’ expectations.
Your tasks
- Use our company in-house systems to invoice, book, report, control turnover and costs for trailer hire and trailer related costs for Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany, Finland and the UK
- Follow up on identified errors in invoicing and vendor invoice processes
- Assist in the month-end closing and prepare financial reports
- Update and operate the intercompany dispute management system
**Profile**:
- Ability to work as a member of the team
- A high level of accuracy
- Good knowledge of the English language, both oral and written
- Invoicing and bookkeeping experience
- Analytical thinker and problem solver
- Routine user of MS Excel
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively, manage competing demands and adapt to frequent changes
