The Volume Allocation Manager of the Benelux agency plays a key role in the collection and update of the volume demand within the scope of the Benelux customers.

The Volume Allocation Manager generates a bottom-up demand per client which will be matched to the industrial capacity by demand planning team in order to have in return a validated Salesplan for Benelux, taking into account the commercial strategic guidelines of the agency.

In addition to the Volume Allocation related responsibilities, this person is also responsible for several Sales Support Management tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect and regularly update the volume demand /Sales forecast from the customer through regular meetings with the Benelux Account Managers team who are in daily contact with the customer.
- Cascade available capacities per product/product line by providing and updating a Sales Plan per client.
- Discuss on a daily basis with central demand planning team:

- on exceptional sales opportunities.
- on consequences of Sales Plan changes on an aggregated level
- on impact of industrial losses or opportunities
- on difficulties in the market and possible returns of Sales Plan

**Profile**
- The Volume Allocation Manager and Support function role has a least a Bachelor type of education and should have a commercial related work experience of 3 to 5 years.
- Languages required: English, Dutch, (French is a +)
- Technical skills:

- Office, SAP, Tableau
- Like to work with data and figures

- Locations of your colleagues: Gent - Belgium, Rotterdam - The Netherlandsoffice location Gent, trips occasionally
- Regular interactions with Customer Service Teams from various Regions to align commercial and mill allocations for service agreement volumes
- Challenge the Account Manager team on available open allocation, lead times, closure of product intersections,
- Manage sales allocation checks in IT systems (SAP, Allocation Framework tool)
- Interact on a regular basis with the Benelux Country Head: provide booking curve reports, discuss bottlenecks,
- Participate actively to a weekly demand planning confcall to discuss the supply chain highlights of the week and Provide those highlights to the Benelux Account Team via a weekly newsletter
- Miscellaneous; Various management support tasks.
