**BAUNAT **is the online reference for high-quality diamond jewellery. A fast growing, disruptive, digital native and Belgian company with showrooms in 9 different countries and a global customer base.
Currently we are looking for a **Diamond and Jewelry Purchaser **for our headquarters in Antwerp, in the heart of the vibrant Diamond District.
As Diamond and Jewelry Administrator you are -together with your colleagues
- responsible for the purchase, processing and control of precious stones (polished), metals and jewellery.
Experience is not required, at BAUNAT we believe that with the right mentality and commitment you can learn anything. Your career path is in your hands.

**Your responsibilities**:

- You process incoming and outgoing invoices.
- You are responsible for the purchase of diamonds, colour stones.
- You make price quotations for tailor-made jewellery and identify any price fluctuations in time for us to adjust our website prices accordingly.
- You check the stock on a weekly basis and manage an efficient supply of frequently requested pieces whereby you work proactively and anticipate busy periods
- You provide colleagues with the requested gemstones and ensure accurate registration (using a stock system) for a transparent process.
- You ensure the smooth processing of incoming goods by performing laser inscription, weight,... and other checks.
- You are closely involved with the product and think about possible improvements (adjustments in the range, expansion or reduction of the stock) in collaboration with the product and sales team.
- You work together with internal departments and our foreign offices, ensuring both an efficient order administration and a pleasant customer experience.
- In addition to this... you also support (where possible) other departments such as marketing (e.g. updating the websites, translating blog texts) and production (monitoring the administrative and logístical process of current orders).
- This will bring you into contact with the various parties involved such as goldsmiths, setters, logistics and other partners, giving you a varied range of tasks, building up a pleasant relationship with colleagues and expanding your knowledge of the product and the company with the accompanying opportunities for growth.**General requirements**:

- You have a bachelor degree (or higher), preferably in Office Management or Business Administration or Commercial Sciences.
- You speak and write fluently Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- You have the courage to negotiate prices and delivery terms.
- You are comfortable with the Office package or new software programs such as exact online, vtiger,... (in-house training provided).
- You are flexible, not 9-to-5-minded, driven and dynamic with an eye for detail, service and quality
- You are honest, discrete and reliable with a high sense of responsibility
