We are looking for a Business Analyst to reinforce our team. The Business Analyst main role is to form the bridge between our internal Business and IT stakeholders and our creative Data Scientists and Data Visualization experts.
The Euroconsumer’s Business Analytics department’s mission is to boost our business through data insights, and in a broader sense, to support our organisation on its path to become more data driven.To help us in this exiting endeavour, we are looking for a Business Analyst to reinforce our team. The Business Analyst main role is to form the bridge between our internal Business and IT stakeholders and our creative Data Scientists and Data Visualization experts.
**The Business Analyst will as such**:
- Contribute to the understanding of business and infrastructure needs that support the efficient and effective development of BI reports and analytic models, to support the organization strategy.
- Support and/or lead our transversal data initiatives.
- Support and/or coordinate our Business Analytics internal processes.
- Our Business Analyst will closely collaborate with Data Scientists, Visualisation Experts, Data Engineers and IT and Business colleagues in several domains.
**Responsibilities**:
- Analyses business requests with the internal clients, identifying and clarifying their requirements, processes and conditions in which Business Analytics can add value.
- Proactively identifies business opportunities where Business Analytics specifically or data in general can contribute to the realization of our organization’s strategy.
- Launch and manage transversal Data Initiatives.
- Analyses analytics and reporting requirements in collaboration with our infrastructure suppliers, identifying and clarifying the requested data, infrastructure, and technical processing needs.
- Ensures that analytics and reporting infrastructure remains fit-for-purpose by participating in projects, by ensuring management and follow-up of incidents/problems and by identifying proactively technical opportunities.
- Ensure smooth operation of our internal process, in close cooperation with management and colleagues.
**Required skills**:
The role requires a significant level of skills, including:
- 2 years of experience as a business analyst.
- Interpersonal and consultative skills.
- Oral and written communication skills (in English).
- Facilitation and organisational skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving.Understanding of Data Science and Data Visualization activities or BI in general is considered an asset.
