**The role**:
We create brands and spaces that make people feel. This makes our work go beyond form and aesthetics, but focus on the way people experience the space. Hotels nowadays are all about the full experience. We aim to grow our Hospitality segment.
Hotel projects are intensive yet rewarding when they are well managed. We're looking for a Design Manager to guide our clients and the internal team during the entire design process. You are the contactperson for the client during the design process and will translate their needs towards the internal team of designers, technical drafts(wo)men and project managers. You're at the steering wheel during the design trajectory and you will make sure all parties are informed, aligned and working together to reach the best possible design within the expectations in terms of creativity, budget and timing.
**About you**:
- You have a passion for interior design and creating space experiences
- You are a born communicator and have a proved track record in guiding design processes in hospitality, retail, office and hotel projects (8 years)
- You have a good understanding of designing and building interiors and can guide the team from a Design Manager point of view
- You love managing several projects and people at the same time
- You’re eager to build long term relationships with clients and brands
- You are used to presenting to a client
- You are positive minded and have an entrepreneurial spirit
- You get a kick of delivering the ideal result in time, within budget and with a team that is proud of it
- You don’t mind solving problems but love to prevent them
- You're not afraid to set project boundaries and communicate them in a respectful way
- You are fluent in English and possibly French and/or Dutch
- You wouldn’t mind taking on a project across the borders
**Responsibilities**:
- You are the first point of contact and will guide the client and creatives during the entire design process
- You will write and monitor the approach, budget and timings
- You have a helicopter view on your projects and know their status on all times
- You will share your design knowledge with the team
- You will manage every detail to make our projects succeed
- You run the meetings and will manage all opinions in order to book progress
- You will motivate the team internally and externally to make groundbreaking work
