Als stagiair bij iO krijg je de kans om de **skills aan te scherpen** waar jij belang aan hecht. Je wordt meegenomen in **échte projecten**, en je eindigt je stage met een waaier aan **competenties** die in de arbeidsmarkt **goed van pas komen**.
We hebben** front-end stageplekken** in onze Technology afdeling. Je doet ervaring op door mee te werken aan onze huidige projecten, en dat doe je op een **inspirerende campus in Gent**. Op onze campussen lopen alle soorten experts door elkaar — designers, copywriters, video-experts en developers leveren maatwerk af voor **klanten als **Brussels Airport, Kinepolis, en Manna**.
Je denkt actief mee met het team over oplossingen en **draagt je steentje bij aan het project**. En koffie halen voor je collega’s? Dat hoeft niet. Maar we gaan ook niet klagen als je dat wel doet, natuurlijk.
Bij iO draait alles rond mensen en talentontwikkeling. En da’s natuurlijk niet anders voor stagiairs. Je krijgt in een handomdraai toegang tot meer dan 1500 collega’s die graag hun — erg uiteenlopende — expertise met jou delen. Daarnaast nodigen we je regelmatig uit voor een Lunch & Learn-sessie, waarbij een expert uitgebreid vertelt over een bepaald project of een bepaalde case.
- Stages zijn **niet **mogelijk tijdens zomer maanden.
Wat je meebrengt als Stage Frontend Developer
Wat ze zoeken in front-end stagiairs:
- Je wil **hands-on ervaring opdoen** met front-end technologieën zoals HTML, CSS / Sass en Javascript.
- Je wil v**erder kijken dan CSS frameworks** als Tailwind en Bootstrap en wil moderne CSS schrijven.
- Je wil je **oog voor detail **verder ontwikkelen en leren hoe je websites maakt voor iédereen. Je wil dus ontdekken hoe usability, accessibility en performance hierbij cruciaal zijn.
- Je wil je front-end **skills direct toepassen **in een CMS zoals Wordpress, Storyblok, Craft, Drupal,,?
- Je wil misschien liever aan de slag met Javascript en helpen bouwen aan webapplicaties in React, Next.JS of Vue? Met een vleugje styled components? Ook dat kan natuurlijk.
Wat al onze stagiairs ook gemeenschappelijk hebben, is het volgende:
- Je bent **nieuwsgierig en niet bang **om je vakkennis uit te breiden en toe te passen.
- Je bent **communicatief sterk in het Nederlands **en kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Engels (andere talen zijn een plus).
- Je kan overweg met een briefing, maar gaat indien nodig ook zelf op zoek naar werk.
