About ENTSO-E

ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. ENTSO-E coordinates the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of 39 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which covers 35 countries.

The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels is the focal point for technical, market and policy questions for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with European Commission, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders. The ENTSO-E Secretariat is a multinational team of more than 100 staff, including secondments from member companies.

The role of the TSOs and their cooperation in ENTSO-E is crucial to ensuring security of supply; completing the largest and most competitive electricity market in the world; and successfully introducing large volumes of renewable energy into the system. The scope and diversity of ENTSO-E's work has grown rapidly and is expected to grow further with implementation of network codes and the EU’s Energy Union.

To contribute to these challenges, ENTSO-E is currently looking to recruit a Coordinator / Administrative Support for its section Corporate Services that covers Finance, Procurement and Health, Safety and Facility scope.

**General position descriptions**

He/she will support primarily the Corporate Services Section and more specifically the Finance department in the various accounting tasks especially in managing all accounting transactions and manage the expense tools (Rydoo and Goelett). To be successful in his/her role, he/she should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

**Responsibilities and tasks**

Key tasks/responsibilities will include:

- Manage on all daily and month-end accounting entries and manage P&L (management fees, reclasses, etc.) and Balance Sheet activities (deferrals, accruals);
- Reconcile monthly accounts payables and receivables;
- Ensure completeness of the costs booked in accounting on a monthly basis (i.e. services rendered during the month are covered by a valid delivery)
- Manage the rebilling activities as Membership fees and Multi-Lateral Agreements;
- Prepare monthly payment in Isabel;
- Prepare monthly tax declaration (VAT);
- Present monthly results to management and explain variances compared to previous month;
- Is the first point of contact for internal and external audit queries;
- Prepare and publish the Annual Accounts;
- Monitor the cash position daily and perform monthly reconciliation between the company´s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers;
- Comply with all company and federal financial policies and regulations;
- Be the first point of contact for staff for queries on expenses and travel apps (Rydoo and Goelett);
- Manage Rydoo and Goelett database.

**Profile**
- Bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent working experience with proven skills in accounting;
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting;
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English and French;
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and General Ledger (BE GAAP)
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Isabel), knowledge of BOB 50 and Rydoo/Goelett is a plus;
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on ensuring the task is completed to high quality standards;
- Proven ability to plan, organise, establish priorities and get things done on time;
- Proactive with the ability for be resourceful and supportive for others when necessary;
- Motivation to work within a multinational and multicultural professional environment.
