As a Supply Chain Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Inventory Management team to support various aspects of supply chain operations. This hands-on internship will provide valuable experience in inventory planning, procurement, demand forecasting, and optimization strategies. You will contribute to real-world projects and gain insight into the complexities of managing inventory in a dynamic business environment.
This internship position is a 3-month full-time commitment with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. Start date of the internship can be discussed.
What we are looking for
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, knowledge of other data analysis tools (Python, PowerBI, Qlikview,...) is beneficial.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably Dutch, both verbal and written.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges.
How you will thrive and create an impact
- Assist in analyzing inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support inventory planning activities, including demand forecasting, safety stock analysis, and replenishment strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between inventory management and other supply chain functions.
- Participate in inventory optimization projects to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and carrying costs.
- Help streamline inventory processes and develop tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support decision-making within the Inventory Management team.
