**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- Extensive knowledge and experience (more than 5 years) in the following areas:

- Cryptographic installation techniques and standards;
- Modern communication and Internet Protocol (IP) based networking technologies and systems including security aspects;
- COMSEC principles and practices, including physical security standards relating to COMSEC;
- Analysis of risk and in the implementation and integration of INFOSEC protective measures;
- Latest Virtualization Technologies, Oracle Linux and database;
- Operating systems backup and restore;
- Working knowledge of the operation of communications systems and troubleshooting techniques;
- Knowledge of crypto accounting and distribution;
- Ability to work independently and in teams to achieve the desired goals, including the ability to monitor and support a team of industry;
- Excellent communications and writing skills in English.

**Desirable**:

- Experience with implementation projects within NATO and/or National military organizations;
- Good understanding of the constraints related to IT systems on NATO networks.

**Duties/role**:

- Delivering secure NATO Cryptographic Installations;
- Installing, commissioning and certifying all Infrastructure-funded, and other, crypto equipment NATO wide, in support of NATO HQs, NATO Nations, NATO Operations and NATO Exercises;
- Providing semi-formal training during initial installation of NATO cryptographic equipment and systems;
- Performing duties as Central Key Distribution Authority;
- Acting as Controlling Authority for Crypto keys;
- Supporting the central distribution of electronic keys for NATO, ACO, ACT crypto accounts and National Distribution Agencies (NDAs);
- Receiving electronic keys from the DACAN Key Management Infrastructure (DKMI);
- Downloading and uploading electronic keys in the NATO Electronic Key Management System (NEKMS);
- Conducting Inventories, destructions of crypto material in his crypto account;
- Issuing or transferring crypto material as directed by the Controlling Authority to authorised COMSEC accounts (including subaccounts) or individual users. If the material is classified, verifying that the individuals are cleared to the classification level of the material;
- Managing crypto equipment for NATO wide assets;
- Being able to perform effectively and efficiently with mínimal supervision;
- Supporting the development of one or more technical deliverables and/or providing exercise support in execution of projects undertaken as directed under the terms of contract;
- Performing crypto facility inspections;
- Performing encryption and setup of data at rest for NATO wide customers.
