Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:
Als Family Officer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opnemen en uitbouwen van het 'family office' binnen ons bedrijf. Jouw missie? Het opzetten en verder uitbouwen van ons 'family office', met een focus op het faciliteren van een effectieve familiale governance, het stimuleren van de betrokkenheid van zowel huidige als toekomstige aandeelhouders en hun families, en het ondersteunen van de stabiliteit van het familiaal aandeelhouderschap. Je rapporteert hiërarchisch aan (de voorzitter van) het SAK-bestuur en werkt nauw samen met de Permanente Werkgroep en de CEO van BOSS paints.

Volgende zaken behoren tot jouw takenpakket:

- Je initieert en faciliteert de samenwerking tussen aandeelhouders, de Kern en de Raad van Toezicht door behoeften van alle betrokkenen proactief te verkennen en deze behoeften te vertalen naar voorstellen en afspraken inzake governance.
- Je fungeert als algemeen secretaris van alle vergaderingen en werkgroepen met aandeelhouders zoals de Algemene Vergadering, Familieforum en Permanente Werkgroep. Van het inplannen van vergaderingen, de agenda opstellen, volmachten verzamelen tot het organiseren van stemmingsprocedures, jij zorgt ervoor dat alles op wieltjes loopt.
- Je adviseert aandeelhouders over financieel-juridische zaken, bedrijfswaardering en dividendbeleid waardoor zij een weloverwogen beslissing kunnen nemen.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het operationeel beheren van de ‘Stichting Administratie Kantoor LUCAS’/ Permanente Werkgroep. Je staat onder meer in voor het bewaken van de juiste toepassingen van alle statutaire verplichtingen en regels (statuten, familiecharter, aanwerving
- en ontslagprocedure van familianten enz. )
- Je staat klaar om familieleden en aandeelhouders te adviseren over zakelijke en financiële thema’s en biedt toegang tot waardevolle netwerken en experts.
- Je organiseert kennismakingsinitiatieven en opleidingen voor (jonge) aandeelhouders om hun rol als (toekomstige) aandeelhouder te versterken.
- In samenwerking met de HR-afdeling van BOSS paints verzorg je het talent management bij de huidige en toekomstige aandeelhouders, inclusief stages, loopbaan coaching & persoonlijke ontwikkeling.
- Daarnaast sta je in voor het beheer van het digitaal familieplatform.
- Tevens ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van het M&M budget en verzorg je de nodige interne communicatie hierrond. (M&M staat voor Mens & Milieu. Elk jaar wordt een vast percentage van de winst van ons bedrijf systematisch opzij gezet om te herinvesteren in de waarde mens & milieu. Hiermee worden onder meer investeringen in onze structurele partners bekostigd, maar evenzeer wordt met dit budget ook geïnvesteerd in een aangename werkomgeving voor de medewerkers.)
- Je blijft voortdurend op de hoogte van ontwikkelingen binnen jouw werkdomein om jouw rol optimaal te kunnen vervullen.
- Dit betreft een parttime functie (min. 50% - 80%). Er is eveneens mogelijkheid om deze vacature nog aan te vullen tot 100% indien er bedrijfsjuridische expertise kan ingezet worden (vb. rond contractenrecht, M&A, enz.)

Jouw profiel:

- Je volgde een universitaire opleiding in een economische of juridische richting (of gelijkaardig door ervaring)
- Je hebt minstens vijf jaar professionele ervaring, bij voorkeur met familiale governance.
- Je beschikt over kennis en ervaring op minstens twee van volgende gebieden: contractrecht, bedrijfswetgeving, bedrijfsaccounting, fiscaliteit, vermogensbeheer.
- Je bent nauwgezet, betrouwbaar, transparant, communicatief en luistervaardig.
- Je hebt van nature een verbindende houding en warme persoonlijkheid, je bent zorgzaam, empathisch en integer.
- Je bent bereid om regelmatig ’s avonds en in het weekend te werken.
- Deze functie kan zowel in loondienst als onder zelfstandig statuut worden uitgevoerd.
