**RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Crop Analytics team provides plant molecular diagnostics and genetics expertise throughout the Seeds & Traits organization. The laboratory group applies globally harmonized analytical and genomics approaches to deliver high quality and cost-effective support for all crop businesses (Breeding, Supply Chain, Trait Research, Trait Development, Regulatory and Stewardship). Crop Analytics also maintains a global network of Certified Third Party Labs.

What you can expect:

- You will lead and coach a team of technical staff executing plant analyses in a deadline driven environment.
- You will coordinate the team's time and skills to deliver timely.
- You will regularly and timely communicate with global customers on planning, advancement of projects and deadlines.
- You will assist in prioritizing projects from multiple customers and translate them to tasks for the team, depending on the scope assigned and at competitive cost, time and quality.
- You will propose and contribute to the development and improvement of standard protocols, procedures, technologies and workflows to increase efficiency and effectivity.
- You will contribute to the design of experimental approaches.
- You will ensure use of implemented operating procedures, state-of-the-art equipment, computer and data management systems and modify and implement new SOP's.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- You have a Master's degree in Life Sciences.
- You have at least 5 years relevant successful experience.
- You have an up-to-date knowledge of life science industry (molecular biology, biotechnology, breeding).
- You have sound knowledge and understanding of technical aspects in the field of molecular markers and genotyping, preferably in a high throughput lab environment.
- You have proven leadership, coaching and planning skills.
- Experience with project management across teams is an added value.
- You are capable of designing and implementing innovative approaches.
- You are flexible and able to reduce complexity.
- You have effective and proactive communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written English.
- You have advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office) and advanced know-how of relevant databases and data analysis software.
