The bpi division sits within the Engineered Materials Division of Berry Global Inc. a US listed company with an annual turnover of around $13bn and over 40,000 employees.

The bpi division has manufacturing sites across the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Poland and Romania

Our packaging division, manufactures an extensive range of flexible packaging films that help to protect, secure and enhance a wide variety of products in many different end-markets. We are one of Europe’s largest recyclers of polyethylene films and also produce Sustane®, our own range of polymers made from recycled plastics. Qualifications:

- You have successfully completed a bachelor's or master's degree in graphics.
- You have a thorough working knowledge of all parameters of the flexographic printing process; printing itself (troubleshooting), inks, printing plates, sleeves, aniloxes, printing machines (in
- and outline), drying & after-burning, substrates, auxiliary materials, etc.
- You have the necessary sense of negotiation and persuasiveness
- You show a sense of responsibility, are stress-resistant and hands-on.
- You dare to take initiative and are a team player, you communicate easily with all colleagues.
- You have a solid knowledge of MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You have a perfect knowledge of the English language.
- You are willing to travel up to 50% of your time between the different sites (BE - NL - UK - GE).

**Responsibilities**:
As a Printing Improvement Manager you are responsible for auditing and monitoring the flexo printing plants within the various Berry bpi branches.

**Tasks**:

- audit and monitor the various printing organizations to evaluate and adjust where necessary.
- support the Berry bpi principles in all sites; safety first
- determine and monitor the KPIs.
- be responsible from A to Z for all kinds of printing-related projects
- develop investment proposals and monitor their implementation
- support the sites in printing terms and look for synergies and standardizations
- streamline the training courses
- contribute to continuous improvements
- contribute to 'first time right' is the goal for every work
- negotiate supplier contracts (inks, prepress, machines, consumables)
- contribute to quality improvements, cost savings and efficiency improvements.
