**Wat kan je verwachten van de job?**
Een leverancier van telecominfrastructuurdiensten is op zoek naar gemotiveerde medewerkers die willen bijdragen tot de uitbouw van het glasvezelnetwerk in België.
Meer bepaald zoeken ze een fiber expert in glasvezel die de uitvoerende teams ondersteunt met de aanleg van glasvezel.
**Als Fiber Expert krijg je de volgende taken toegewezen**
- Je begeleidt teamleden/subco’s en ondersteunt hen in hun dagelijks functioneren. Hierbij geef je duidelijke instructies, draag je jouw kennis over zodat zij bepaalde issues zelf kunnen oplossen.
- Je zet jouw technische kennis in om diverse fiber field problemen correct te analyseren en zo snel mogelijk in een oplossing te voorzien.
- Je communiceert op een constructieve manier met de eigen techniekers en die van subco's. Je fungeert als interface naar de klant wanneer specifieke problemen onderzocht/opgelost dienen te worden.
- Je ziet erop toe dat de gevestigde werkinstructies, procedures en richtlijnen gevolgd worden door o.a. veiligheidschecks en gerichte controles op technische fouten uit te voeren.
- Je brengt proactief mogelijke verbetertrajecten en opleidingsvoorstellen aan.
- Je werkt samen met de teams om de vooropgestelde targets te behalen. Hierbij ben je jou bewust van de operationele targets zodat issues kunnen geprioriteerd worden in functie van de resultaatsverbintenis.
- Je bent op de hoogte van de team/individuele doelen zodat indien nodig je de eigen prestaties kan afstemmen om de vooropgestelde resultaten te bereiken.
- Je neemt een ondersteunende rol op bij het organiseren, coördineren en opvolgen van nieuwe procedures, nieuwe tools, nieuwe fiber
- en lastechnieken.
- Je bent steeds aandachtig voor de algemene veiligheid en het welzijn van alle Fiber Engineers.

**Wat verwachten we van jou?**
**Van de Fiber Expert verwachten wij volgend profiel**
- Middelbaar onderwijs of equivalent door ervaring
- Je bent een expert in lassen (superbak, OFP, DTPx/f)
- Je beschikt over een VCA basis certificaat, Proximus GPON FTT x certificaat en goede kennis van de tools. Betty, Fitness, IFH
- Je hebt sterk technische affiniteit en beschikt over kennis van het werkdomein zodat je een werkplan juist kan lezen/interpreteren (civiele & fiberdesign).
- Communicatie: Vlot communiceren is jouw tweede natuur zowel mondeling als geschreven in Nederlands en/of Frans (projectafhankelijk). Je brengt informatie op een correctie en begrijpbare manier over, rekening houdend met het doelpubliek. Je gaat in dialoog met de verschillende stakeholders en luistert ook naar hen.
- Probleemoplossend vermogen: Je werkt zelfstandig en lost autonoom problemen op en bent hierbij in staat om verschillende opties af te wegen, een beslissing te maken en verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen.
- Analytisch: Je analyseert gericht de gegevens, beoordeelt kritisch de informatie en legt verbanden tussen verschillende gegevens om sluitende conclusies te trekken.
- Resultaatgericht: Je werkt toe naar de afgesproken doelstellingen en stelt hierbij hoge eisen aan het eigen werk en dat van anderen. Je houdt ervan om voortdurend te streven naar de verbetering
- Veiligheidsbewustzijn: Je bent je bewust van eigen risico's en die van derden. Je draagt de persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen en neemt een veilige werkhouding aan voor jezelf, collega's of machines om schade of verlies te vrijwaren.
