Company Description
As a pioneer in hazardous waste treatment and recovery, Veolia paved the way more than 40 years ago by founding SARPI to meet the technological, economic and environmental challenges of its clients and partners. Today, SARPI is the leading player in Europe for hazardous waste treatment and recovery. SARPI BENE (Belgium & The Netherlands) is active in two countries and has 8 hazardous waste companies in scope with almost 400 engaged employees. Currently we are in a transition to build a closer collaboration between our SARPI BENE entities. For this reason, we would like to reinforce our team with an IT Project Manager who as able to drive change.
**Job Description**:
- In this new position, you will report to the CEO of SARPI BENE.
- Advice the senior management in defining a long term and sustainable ICT strategy that meets business needs and requirements. Responsible for translating business requirements into IT related solutions (tools, etc) and this in close collaboration with the managers of the business.
- Responsible for the coordination and implementation projects (including change management) of new IT business solutions and tools (e.g. SARPI ERP tool, business software, PLC) within SARPI BENE.
- Relies on SARPI group IT standards and teams to ensure IT compliance and Cybersecurity for the BU
- First point of contact for Sarpi Group for ICT related topics and reporting.
- Create an internal ICT community (knowledge sharing, strengthening of competences)
- Keep up-to-date with ICT innovation and trends.
**Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree in ICT or similar level by experience.
- Natural “senior personality”, able to collaborate and negotiate with senior management, and to build relations inside and outside the company and convince.
- Enthusiastic and positive mindset, creative, analytical and pragmatic problem solver who thinks systems and processes in terms of solutions.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal in Dutch, French and English.
- Experience in managing and implementing IT business projects in a complex industrial business environment with different kinds of stakeholders.
