- Role Description
- Part of the Louvain-la-Neave procurement team, you will manage procurement master data and will support the site procurement team on specific procurement categories & initiatives as required.
- Position Responsibilities
- The LLN Procurement team is responsible for managing the Direct Spend categories of the site. Additionally, may lead and support Global Initiatives.
- As a team, with various internal stakeholders, we lead:

- Cost reductions initiatives
- Co-ordinate supplier and material qualification projects
- Manage related master data
- Support on time in full supply of parts & materials of the appropriate quality
- We achieve this by straightening the organization through process standardization and continuous Improvement. We are supported by a team of Supply Chain associates responsible for Purchase Order creation and follow up in line with manufacturing plans.
- Within the team, the position has the following key responsibilities:

- Manages SAP procurement info and internal data bases, including supplier data, pricing, delivery lead times & product info according to specifications
- Works with internal stakeholder and suppliers to support the execution of projects which affect the Site
- Contributes to qualification and sourcing for new products and alternatives
- Support procurement team for RFPs/competitive bids, reviews proposals, negotiates prices and terms with suppliers
- Works with supplier base and internal customers to resolve issues related to quality, process performance and supply.
- Observe and ensure the compliance to GMP policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work collectively with procurement team, other enabling functions, and other manufacturing.
- Serves as the external liaison to suppliers.
- Education & Experience:

- Bachelor or master’s degree in business or Sciences
- A 2 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain
- A good understanding of the Manufacturing environment
- Technical Skills Requirements:

- Business English
- Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
- Able to work effectively on a fast-paced team in a professional environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Experienced in data analysis using Excel strongly preferred
- Good SAP Procurement system experience strongly preferred
