Our Client has been a specialist for more than 30 years in the assembly of electronic PCBs for numerous (international) markets. Focus is both on the production of prototypes as well as large volumes, in support of technological innovations. The printed circuit boards are assembled from the site in Harelbeke, tested and go through various procedures in order to meet the highest quality standards.
Printed circuit boards are the core of many electronic devices that we use every day. The "future proof" making these devices in various sectors is their hobbyhorse and drives the 25 employees daily to deliver the best quality. Wearables, medical devices, IoT, chip design and automotive developments are just some of the sectors in which the Client operates.
To support and realize growth, we are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager. This person will not only be the external commercial face towards existing and new new customers but will also take responsibility for all Marketing related matters such as the website such as the website, company presentations, quotations, information/documentation for fairs and events,...
**Function description**
- You will be the external commercial face of the company: you prospect for new customers (hunting) and maintains periodic relationships with existing customers (key account management).
- The customer segments you are active in include but are not limited to:
- Satellite communications
- Health care
- OEM technology sector
- ...
- The final editing as well as the internal and external follow-up of quotations are your process tasks. For pricing you consult with the General Manager.
- You provide the colleagues of the Customer Service department with all the necessary instructions to be able to supervise the execution of orders in line with what has been agreed with the customer.
- Order intake and gross margin are your drivers.
- The appearance of the company (website, presence at trade shows and events, company presentation) are your initiative and editing. You get the necessary energy out of this.
- You are supported in this by colleagues from Technology, Customer Service and Production.
- You report monthly to the Board on commercial developments and evolutions in the market.
**Job requirements**
- You couple a commercial talent with the technical affinity for Electronic Manufacturing Services.
- You have a minimum of 8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in custom industrial manufacturing or technical services.
- You have a Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
- You have experience selling to Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEMs).
- Sector knowledge is a plus but is not essential.
- You have experience with Value Based Selling.
- You are a communicative team player who can also work sufficiently independently.
- You have strategic insight and are honest, transparent and driven.
- You are fluent both orally and in writing in Dutch, English and French.
- PowerPoint holds no secrets for you: you succeed fluently and qualitatively, both in terms of content and look & feel, to bring offers to the prospect or customer, this in Dutch, French or English.

This is a longer term, full-time assignment for which we are looking for a self-employed manager who will invoice through his or her management company, but a contract as an employee with the company is also possible.
