Jouw takenpakket

Als Technical Writer zorg jij ervoor dat zorgverleners precies weten hoe zij de functionaliteiten binnen ons EPD het beste kunnen gebruiken. Dit doe jij met jouw scherpe, heldere teksten. Je vertaalt het technisch jargon van onze ontwikkelaars naar begrijpelijke taal voor eindgebruikers. Daarbij krijg je energie van het schrijven van foutloze gebruikershandleidingen. Ook werk je graag mee aan de Online Help binnen onze software, de releasenotes en de vele andere vormen van documentatie.

Jouw team

Je werkt in een multidisciplinair team bestaande uit onderwijskundigen, e-learningontwikkelaars, technisch schrijvers en vertalers. Binnen dit hechte team heeft ieder zijn eigen aandachtsgebied, maar ondersteunen jullie elkaar in het behalen van gestelde doelen. Jouw team, de 'Documentalisten', maakt onderdeel uit van de afdeling Implementatie & Support. Voor de input van teksten die je gaat schrijven overleg je ook regelmatig met collega's van Research & Development. Hierdoor weet je precies hoe jouw teksten de eindgebruikers van onze software het beste kunnen helpen.
Jouw werkdag

Je wenst je collega's goedemorgen en duikt na je anekdote over gisteravond geconcentreerd in de handleiding waaraan je gisteren bent begonnen. Om 11.00 uur staat een vergadering gepland. Daarna zijn de releasenotes aan de beurt. Doel: gebruikers op de hoogte brengen van wijzigingen in onze software. Het is knallen, want er is een harde deadline. Gelukkig is er altijd wel ruimte voor een taalgrapje. Morgen verwerk je de releasenotes in de Online Help, maar voor vandaag is het mooi geweest. Althans, wat werk betreft. Samen met je collega's sluit je de werkdag af met een (digitale) borrel.
