**Your responsibilities**

As a Junior Firmware Developer Wireless you:

- want to become a proud software craftsX, craftswoman, or craftsman ,
- contribute to the development of a subsystem, component, or module,
guided by a senior colleague or an architect,
- estimate the effort of your work and contribute to reviewing the estimates of peers,
- contribute to the design for the software that is to be made,
- code and test your software modules,
- ensure that there is proper documentation for the developed software,
- plan your own assignments and report on progress.

**Your profile**

To be successful in this role you have/are:

- a Master’s degree in Software Engineering or Electronics or
you have reached this level through another form of training or experience, a natural team player and obsessed to learn and gaining experience,
- a person who fluently express your ideas in spoken and written English.

**You have a keen interest in**
- microcontroller architectures and peripherals,
- building real-time systems on bare metal or an RTOS using C,
- wireless communication at all protocol layers of the OSI model
- scripting in Python,
- design methods and software engineering processes.

**Assets**
- experience with Bluetooth Smart/BLE

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity as well.
