Vice President for BeLux Wealth Segment
We are looking for an enthusiastic relationship manager to join our Brussels team to help us achieve BlackRock’s purpose of helping more and more people experience financial well-being. Our team maintains relationships with banks, wealth managers, online players, asset managers and asset owners in the BeLux region. Business Unit Overview
The iShares & Wealth sales team develops and maintains relationships and drives flows with fund investors in Belgium and Luxembourg. The Wealth Coverage team manages the relationships and drives flows with banks across the marketplace, B2C brokers, insurance companies for unit linked, wealth managers and advisors across Discretionary Portfolio Management, Advisory and Execution Only.
Key responsibilities
- Maintains and develops deep relationships with Wealth on all levels with the goal to drive buy list penetration and flows in ETFs, active mutual funds and liquid/illiquid alternatives
- Executes product campaigns via product education sessions for banks, private banks and wealth managers digitally as well as on the ground
- Participation in and organization of client events, presentations, educational sessions as speaker and further development of such formats
- Client support with regards to regulatory as well as segment specific processes, products and services
- Offers additional services to clients like technology, our capital market views, support when it comes to portfolio construction or help clients within their business model transformation
- Sets a clear strategy for clients, in line with the country strategy and the iShares & Wealth strategy for BeLux
- Further development of scaled distribution approaches, i.e. creation of relevant content, presentations, webinars, podcasts etc.
- Responsibility to ensure that all regulatory & legal requirements and standards are met personally and within the team
Knowledge/Experience
- Proven excellence in a products or services sales role or thorough knowledge of banking and asset management landscape in the region.
- Deep understanding of the sales process, prospecting, objection handling, closing and long-term relationship management.
Skills/Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law or Marketing, alternatively have strong professional experience in these fields
- Good research and data management skills
- Fluent in Dutch or French (preferably both) and English

- Comfortable in interacting with clients and colleagues of all levels of seniority
