**DCM Origination Vice-President Position (Brussels-based)**:

- Debt Capital Markets
- ~20% work from home

**A day in the life of a DCM Originator**

The VP will join a young and dynamic team working in an international context and will have the following responsibilities:
Prepare and supervise the clients pitches, deal with proposal requests and keep clients up to date with credit market analysis on an ongoing basis

Lead the process of bond transaction execution

Maintain very close contacts with the “PAMs” (Parent Account Managers, ie relationship managers and senior bankers), the Bond syndicate team as well as the entire value chain to understand the primary and secondary markets dynamics and advise your clients portfolio on bond related topics.

Create opportunities by understanding issuer needs and using DCM toolbox including sustainability, liability management exercises and hybrid capital

Will constantly expand his knowledge of the dynamic financial markets and maintain contacts within the entire Debt Markets platform and the bank (ING France, Belgium and ING Worldwide).

- **Educational background** : University degree (Economic orientation/Legal/business). An Academic background with coursework in Finance or economics is a plus
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge and understanding of financial markets
- Solid professional writing skills
- Customer focus with strong communication, negotiation, commercial and analytical skills
- Flexible, hard worker with sound dose of creativity, dynamism and strong team spirit
- Ability to manage multiple projects and at times material workload
- Excellence in planning and organization skills
- Fluency in English and French is required

**Experience**: a minimum of 6 years’ experience within a Financial Market/ corporate/ wholesale environment is require
- As a Senior DCM Originator, you will have the opportunity to:

- Travel frequently to Paris (and Amsterdam)
- Meet and be in close contact with a lot of key stakeholders of the ING’s Capital Markets and Advisory Team

**The team**

The mission of the ING Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Origination team is to originate bond and related products (for industrial groups, banks, agencies and sovereign issuers) for the entire ING group. In Brussels, we cover Belgium, France and CEE clients.

For this position, we are looking for an experienced colleague for our origination activities from Brussels (focus on French and Belgian Investment Grade corporate clients).

Through ongoing contacts with the DCM platform colleagues, syndication, liability management, hybrid and ESG experts and the entire value chain specialists (including legal, traders, sales and research colleagues) as well as through regular contacts with worldwide account managers (relationship managers), the senior originator will play a key role in the origination of new bond transactions, maintaining and growing the ING Corporate franchise.

The new colleague will have the responsibility for the coverage of a portfolio of corporate clients in France and Belgium.
