Context

Within the Shared Services Center Operations of Degroof Petercam, we strive to offer best in class, efficient services to our internal and external clients.

As Business Process Manager, you will ensure the efficiency of the business processes within the department. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating our banking operations and client lifecycle processes, and developing improvement strategies and facilitating changes

Your Position
- Design and implement processes and best practices
- Analyze current processes and make recommendations for improvements (e.g. lean, automation, robotization )
- Assist the process owner to identify risks and help to embed controls to mitigate the risks
- Monitor process performance and identify areas for continuous improvement
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure processes are being followed
- Document processes and create process maps
- Analyse and document business requirements of a new project and assess the business impact and risks on the operational processes. Potentially also participate to the execution of testcases.
- Train team members on new or updated processes
- Communicate process changes to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with process management framework, with internal policies and external regulations

Your main stakeholders in the group are:

- Operations Management
- Business Line representatives
- Internal Control Units and control and Process Managers across the Group
- Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Audit
- Transformation office
- Program managers

Your Profile
- You have a Master degree, with minimum 3 years of experience as process manager, or in a similar role
- You have good knowledge of the financial industry, preferably in banking operations and/or client lifecycle processes
- You have an analytical and synthetic mind and can identify potential optimizations in process flows
- You have the capacity to develop an internal network with the different stakeholders
- You have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and can easily explain matters
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma is a major asset
- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English
- You have relevant experience in project and process management
