The **Team lead Scientific Liaisons** is a leadership role responsibility for the overall management of the interactions with our partner laboratories. As a** line manager** you’ll be responsible for recruitment, training, development, and performance reviews of the liaison team. There will be a close collaboration with business and senior management needed to work on strategy and acquisition of new business. You’ll also work on the implementation and **improvement **of an operational framework. This with the aim to create additional value in the services scientific operations is providing for internal and external customers.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Operational and personnel management of the scientific liaisons globally
- Accountable for the efficiency of the liaisons as single point of contact between local labs and Cerba Research for all the departments of Cerba Research
- Implement an operational framework within Scientific Liaison team
- Acting as liaison for partner labs not covered by a local liaison
- Answer scientific questions addressed to the scientific department
- Acts as a deputy Head of Scientific Operations.
- In charge of continuous improvement of processes, tools and organization related to the interactions with the partner labs for serving intra-department and internal stakeholders
- Optimize and standardize processes within team, with internal customers, and external (partner) labs
- Closely collaborate with key stakeholders/process owners to improve processes and provide value to our services
- Maintain and build strong internal relationships within the company by demonstrating cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in leading remote and international team
- Broad background in working with customers, partner labs and managing partner relations
- Experienced with a clinical laboratory setting (preferably global central lab) and with clinical trials
- Ability to quickly embrace new scientific questions and to quickly find relevant information and solutions
- Excellent relational skills that make you able to interact with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment
- Proven experience in effectively overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of solutions and processes
- Key in prioritization, flexibility and adaptability
- Cutting edge management skills, both line and transversal management
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software: Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook
- PhD/Master in life sciences
- 5 years' experience in a clinical laboratory setting (preferably flobal central lab) and experience with managing scientific projects
