**The European School of Mol is recruiting: 2 Primary class teachers for the Anglophone section**

**Responsibilities**:

- Teaching primary pupils in the Anglophone section
- To develop in the pupils the interest and the attraction for learning a second language
- Follow the European Schools’ curriculum:

- Motivated to work in a multicultural and multilingual environment
- Motivated to work with your section colleagues and teachers from the other sections

**Profile and requirements**:

- A pedagogical Degree or relevant teaching qualification (QTS)
- Native English speaker or a level equivalent to a native speaker
- Have the ability to teach English as a foreign language.
- The harmonisation of work between language sections as a part of the school project is indispensable
- Collaborative spirit with colleagues, management and families.
- Knowledge of at least one of the other European vehicular languages (FR-DE-NL) is an asset.

**Selection procedure**:

- Cover & motivation letter
- Only CVs in Europass format (in English) can be considered
- Copies of diploma/qualifications (no more than three attached documents in total)
- Diplomas obtained outside the EU must undergo homologation, e.g. via NARIC Vlaanderen
- Shortlisting based on diplomas, resume and motivation letter
- Interview with the selection committee
- Validation of the diploma by a national inspector

**Offer**:

- A dynamic job in an international environment
- Fixed-term contract of definite duration for the school year 2024-2025 with a possibility to be extended, according to the Service regulations for locally recruited teachers in the European Schools (Ref.: 2016-05-D-11-en-14) starting on 01/09/2024.
- Min. 22h/week, max 25.5h/week (Full time = 25.5h/week)
- Locally recruited teachers (Primary) are paid per teaching hour: 178,20 euros gross per month for each weekly teaching hour
- Brut monthly salary € 3920,40 for 22 hours per week
- Removal costs (art. 37)
"A locally recruited teacher recruited for a minimum period of one year and a contract providing a minimum of 16 hours/periods per week shall, as provided in Article 59 and Article 62 of the Regulations for Seconded Staff Members of the European Schools, be entitled to reimbursement of the expenses caused by the removal to the place of the school (...)".
- Installation allowance (art. 37bis)
"A locally recruited teacher recruited for a minimum period of one year and a contract providing a minimum of 16 hours/periods per week who furnishes evidence of having been obliged to change his/her place of residence and of having actually settled at his/her place of employment (...) shall be entitled (a) to an installation allowance (...)".
