The AXA Belgium **Communication, Brand & Sustainability** team is looking for a ‘**Press** Officer**‘. Within our team, we are all passionate about delivering an exquisite customer experience, sharing the same ambition:
- Enhance the overall AXA brand experience and positioning via communication actions, media campaigns and events
- Internally and externally market our business realizations

- Strengthen and activate our Communication & SoMe Ambassador communities
Your very concrete focus and contribution will lie in acting as a **Press Officer**, and in **driving **other** external communication** activities.
Concretely you will have the following responsibilities:
- Promote the image of AXA and protect our reputation, via **proactive press initiatives**.
- Actively maintain/entertain a **network** of press contacts and other important stakeholders
- Engage in active news hunting acting as an **internal journalist**, leveraging our newsroom governance and your internal network to gather most valuable brand, business, sustainability and employer realizations
- Organize **creative initiatives** (news articles, events, social media, ) to catch the attention of journalists and other target audiences (e.g. NGO’s, ) and promote our realizations
- Follow up on **press and media watch** in order to capture any reputation risks, and prepare reactions in the most appropriate way
- Prepare talking points and written responses for our **Spokesperson** for AXA Belgium towards press, official instances and all other stakeholders
- Support the **positioning of our CEO and Top Management** by organizing media appearances and speaking opportunities, defining talking points in line with our strategy, speech writing, providing audiovisual support,
For this, you’ll collaborate closely with Top Management, Business, Marketing, Distribution, HR and AXA Group colleagues, as well as all internal and external communication stakeholders, both through and beyond our official ‘Newsroom’ governance.
**Your Profile**

- You have a **proven track record** and mínimally 3-5 year **expertise** in **press relations** or as a **journalist, **in **reputation & crisis management,** and/or** (internal/external) communication**. _Experience in (several of) following domains is an extra asset: social media, advertising, media planning, creative design, marketing, employer branding, conception and organization of (large corporate) events, _
- As part of the AXA communication team, you:
- are able to generate enthusiasm and **communicate fluently** - both orally and written - **in Dutch, French and English**:
- master generic communication competencies like **newshunting**, **copy-writing**, **speech writing**, project management, stakeholder management,
- have a **very well-developed digital / social media footprint**:
- show yourself as very **#ProudToBeAXA. **As first ambassador you identify and **strongly believe in what AXA stands for** (our noble purpose, our brand positioning, our business strategy, our CSR and D&I focus, )
- You have very well-developed social skills. You integrate easily in our team and excel in **transversal collaboration**.
- You are a born networker and **build relationships easily**. You are diplomatic, showing vision and understanding at **strategic level**, while being able to execute and speak in a very **tactical manner**.
- You are a **creative innovator** who does everything possible to **deliver unforgettable communication experiences**. You want to** make a change** and **commit to results**. While doing so, you keep it simple for yourself, the colleagues, our customers and all stakeholders.
