The Strategic Capabilities team is a critical driver in accelerating Associate growth and capabilities for the business. On one side, by bringing industry best practices to identify the capabilities needed to deliver on the business ambitions, and on the other, by providing strategic guidance to Mars University, through its functional and leadership colleges.

The Global Director SCPP&A will lead and continuously develop a team of SC Partner & Accelerators, who will bring their deep expertise in capability assessment and building into some of the most strategic initiatives for the segments and functions. The SC Partner and Accelerators will also work, when needed, on Leadership Development projects and other enterprise-wide Strategic Capability projects.

As we continue our transformation, the Global Director - Strategic Capabilities Practice, Partners & Accelerators (SCPP&A) will continue to build the Strategic Capabilities Practice (policies, processes, tools, governance, frameworks, guidelines, partnerships, technology, and roles & responsibilities) and lead the team that helps equip Mars with industry best practices in identifying, assessing, diagnosing, and building capabilities. Their team will bring industry best practices and outside-in perspective by leading or leveraging existing research that might be pertinent to the projects SC will support within the business, allowing leaders to have the data and insights needed to make decisions on which capabilities they will need to deliver on their strategies.

Being a senior expert in capabilities assessment and building, the Global Director SCPP&A will lead or support strategic transversal capability projects.

**What are we looking for?**
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Preferred) in areas such as Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development)
- 15+ years of experience in Talent, 6+ of which spent focused in skills, or other competency-focused roles
- Experience as a consultant is a plus
- Excellent leadership and talent development skills
- Demonstrated experience leading successful, innovative and forward-looking teams
- Ability to integrate internal and external data & insights and anticipate their impact on Mars' Capability needs
- Proven track record in strategic / complex Organizational Development (OD) transformations
- Proven track record in building knowledge management related areas with a strong focus in the creation and maintenance of policies, processes, tools, governance, frameworks, guidelines, partnerships, technology, and roles & responsibilities
- Expertise in Associate capability planning and building
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in skills and competences management, trends, research and analytics
- Knowledgeable on key vendors in the industry
- Demonstrated exemplary customer-service experience and focus
- Proven track record coordinating and managing complex projects with multiple competing priorities or perspectives
- Political sensitivity and savviness in matrixed organizations.

**What would be your key responsibilities?**

The **Global Director SCPP&A** will play a central role in influencing the SC strategy and roadmap, as well as in the creation of an industry-leading Strategic Capabilities Practice by:

- Actively partnering with their peers on the SC Leadership Team to drive a future-forward strategy towards capability assessment and building (through Mars U)
- Engaging and influencing key senior stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure alignment and buy-in around the SC model and best practices
- Championing a data and insights-driven approach to capability planning / building
- Managing the research needed to test innovative techniques, trends in the market and relevant industry research to elevate the impact of SC in different strategic initiatives
- Lead strategic capability assessment / capability building of strategic and transversal initiatives
- Create and continuously develop a team of experts in capability assessment and building based on the identified best practices
