Currently, we’re strengthening data driven compliance approach within our organization as we see the increasing need for control and oversight. As a part of the team, we would like to bring on board an experienced Compliance Officer for a permanent assignment.
**Profile**:
**How will you make a difference?**
You will help us to ‘change finance to finance change’, by supporting relevant stakeholders with better insights into the compliance risks. Together with your team:
- You will use the available data from Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) tooling to perform risk assessments and advice on the implementation of control measures
- You will be a sparring partner for senior management when it comes to a data driven compliance approach and contribute to embedding this approach and our policies within Triodos
- You will keep track of developments in compliance legislation within the financial sector and have a (joint) responsibility for development, implementation, and monitoring of effective compliance policy
- You will pro-actively engage with relevant stakeholders to stimulate, motivate, and improve the way we manage our (compliance) risks with a more data driven approach
- You will come up with ideas to actively stimulate the risk awareness within the organization

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be experienced with translating the compliance legislation to the requirements for financial services and products
- Have extensive experience with GRC tooling to support compliance and risk activities
- Be a creative person that thinks analytical and innovative and supports the organization in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance
- Be able to assess risks with your knowledge of operational processes and data within the bank and translate this in relevant reporting to appropriate stakeholders
- Enjoy playing an important role in the support of users with the use of the tool
Furthermore, it is desirable that you will have:
- Previous working experience with banking processes
- Knowledge and experience with relevant compliance rules and regulations
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Detailed hands-on / customizing knowledge of ServiceNow or similar GRC tooling.
- Experience in translating Business Requirements into IT Requirements and design the correct solution (direction) corresponding these business requirements
**Who will you work with?**
As a Compliance Officer you report to the local Head of Compliance. You will join internationally operating Compliance team of committed professionals where you will have opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge. On a daily basis you will be working with various business units across the whole organization.
