**About My Way**:
We are a subsidiary of D’Ieteren Automotive, active in used cars in Belgium and internationally. Our objective is to become the undisputed market leader in Belgium through a used car sales model that combines online channels with a national franchise network.

Within the group, we have two business units:

- **My Way**, our retail (B2C) brand, is our promise to the end-customer. Through My Way we market used cars in Belgium through a combination of digital channels and a physical franchise network of 100+ distribution points across the country.
- **My Way PRO**, our B2B brand, is active in used car wholesale at international level. Our objective is to source quality used cars across Europe from a varied range of channels and partners and sell them through our official channels: My Way and Audi Approved+ of B2B car dealers.

**Importance of Data for My Way.**

Data is a crucial 360°-lever for the success of My Way:
The better we are able to understand what our end-customer wants (both in products & services), the more relevant our solutions will be in answering these needs. By exploiting our various data sources efficiently, and by integrating these understandings into our various business activities, we will deliver a better service quality to both our dealer network and to our end customers, leading in the end to better financial results.

At the highest level, we want to master data at customer and vehicle level. These insights will guide us to purchase the right cars, improve our stock rotation, choose the right distribution channels and increase the cross-selling of various services in addition to the vehicle.

Therefore, we want to
- Develop an extensive 360° knowledge of customers: what do they value in every step of the customer journey,
- Develop a sharp data-driven understanding of the products needed by our strategic channels: what is requested by the market at a certain moment, what are the products in stock and in the pipeline, what is the value of changing the stock, what is the impact of dynamic pricing on rotation
- Provide relevant coaching to our LMA’s on how to optimize the returns of their stock - which products to source, which to sell off, etc.
- Educate LMA’s on the value potential for them through cross-selling: building a dynamic and insightful tool to ensure LMA’s know for a specific car, what he would gain from selling other products.
- Build leading stock management intelligence both on car selection and dynamic pricing: what’s requested by the market, what’s the offer in the market,
- Build data intelligence systems allowing us to propose the right car at the right time to the LMA’s.

All these elements are instruments for Marketing, the strategic channels and the Wholesale car factory. However, we will not be able to develop high-level data & BI expertise in every unit. Therefore, we need a Data Coach to develop the knowledge and expertise in the My Way organization and to coach the units to leverage the data as much as possible.

**Tasks**:
**In order to realize this mission, we need a Data & BI Coach, with following focal points (non-exhaustive)**:

- Utilize technical expertise to ensure data is accurate and of high-quality and hence, ensure full reliability of the data.
- Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interprete patterns and trends in complex data sets to come to correct diagnosis and conclusions, predicting customer & LMA-behaviour to improve stock management & rotation.
- Help to set-up ways to share the key insights in a user-friendly way to the various My Way teams (Purchasing, Sales, dealer development), allowing them to take optimal business decisions
- Drive data literacy within My Way, assisting practically the units to set up the right data analytics.
- Coach My Way-team members to use BI correctly to extract and analyze data
- Help to correctly interprete the data, analytics and business insights;
- Equip the My Way-team with the training and education required to fuel measurable business value in efficiency, cost savings, and retention.
- Animate the community within My Way who uses data or analytics, making sure that teams can leverage on each other’s experiences and coordinating efforts and information exchange.
- Build a culture of fact-driven decisions within the organization, by creating internal analytics communities where business needs and solutions are discussed and shared
- Organize and report on data related to sale numbers, margins, stock turns, logistics efficiency, LMA performance, etc... Data is then analyzed, designed, and presented in a way that assists individuals and teams to make better decisions.

**Skills & Competences**:
The function reports to the Managing Director My Way and supports the whole My Way-organization.
