The Client Service team understands customer needs and goals, brings technical expertise to support client onboarding, provides training, and offers direction throughout all phases of the client life cycle pre
- and post-sale in close collaboration with the Product Management, Research, and Sales teams. Achievement of these goals is measured through increased product usage, expanded organizational relationships and reduced client turnover rates. While this group is specifically focused on client retention, it is brought into sales conversations as product experts to help advance and close new business.
The Technical Analyst’s primary responsibilities include:
- Provide post-sales support
- Manage client onboarding and data intake
- Contribute to and coordinate the preparation and delivery of client deliverables
- Understand product packaging and evaluate what products should be included and consolidated for each client contract
- For product bundles not yet available in the client-facing platform, access the data via the appropriate channels (e.g., API, SFTP)
- Combine and package the different product segments into an integrated and cohesive deliverable based on the client’s subscription
- Deliver the consolidated data package via the methods determined in the client contract
- Support the billing cycle process
Additional responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Product, Research and Sales teams to promote quality improvement
- Systematically gather and share client feedback with Product, Research and other relevant internal groups
LI-LR1
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree in Operations, Management, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
- Experience in finance and capital markets, particularly with respect to asset portfolios and security identifiers. Experience with financial information platforms like FactSet (preferred), Bloomberg, Eikon, Capital IQ, etc.
- Proficient in analytical software tools, including MS Excel, business intelligence platform(s), and data storage and manipulation tools (Python preferred, R, SQL)
- Hands-on experience working with structured data sets, reference identifiers, and relational data models
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability effectively to communicate complex, technical issues to non-expert audiences
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter, autonomous and responsible
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and able to juggle and meet multiple deadlines
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
- Strong team player and an individual who enjoys interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Additional language skills (e.g., French, German, Spanish) preferred
