We are seeking a dynamic Logistics Expert to join our team and play a pivotal role in bridging communication and operations across various departments, with a primary focus on warehousing and transportation.
As the Single Point of Contact (SPOC), you will liaise between teams, management, and other departments, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless coordination.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the primary liaison between all departments, with a focus on maintaining solid communication channels and fostering collaboration
- Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and contributing to the structure of our processes, enabling effective communication at all levels
- Utilize strong communication skills to identify and address bottlenecks, collaborating closely with colleagues to implement structural changes and provide a receptive ear for problem-solving discussions
- Leverage transport expertise to ensure timely deliveries, collaborating with transport partners to tailor solutions, initiate communication, and manage logistics effectively
- Demonstrate proficiency in office software packages, essential for effective task management and communication
- Cultivate a problem-solving mindset, actively seeking solutions and opportunities for improvement rather than merely identifying issues
- Embrace a team-player mentality, fitting seamlessly into our work environment and engaging in one-on-one discussions to enhance collaboration and efficiency
- 3-5 years of experience within logistics is a must
- Experience within telecommunications a very nice to have
- Next to French and/or Dutch is fluency in English essential, knowledge of Spanish is advantageous
- Proactivity, effective communication and teamwork skills is embedded in your personality
- Customs knowledge is a nice to have
