**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced and creative **Social Media Specialist** to join our team. As a** Social Media Specialist**, you will be responsible for co-developing, rolling out, and measuring continuous improvement of our social media strategy to increase our online presence, in alignment with the global Brand and Communications strategy of TOMRA Food.
You are passionate about the broader mission of TOMRA to create a more sustainable world through better use of resources and join thousands of colleagues worldwide who share a strong conviction about our mission.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Create and build profound knowledge of the food industry for optimal engagement with our target audience(s) for each social media channel, creating persuasive content that strikes a chord with the intended audience and is unique to the typical interactions of each channel.
- Create a cohesive social media plan, in line with the global Brand & Communications strategy, supporting the overarching company goals.
- Develop a Social Media content calendar, and align on the calendar with relevant stakeholders
- Planning, creating, publishing and sharing new content on all TOMRA Food’s social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,... and interact with the followers on a daily basis to increase our social media engagement.
- Involvement in basic creative design for social media channel management
- Define, capture and analyze the approriate social media KPIs, and social media best practises to measure the success of every social media campaign, using that information to refine future campaigns.
- Implement high-performing paid strategies using tools such as Facebook Ads Manager or other paid options.
- Develop and manage a social media budget in line with business requirements and objectives.
- Shape the role, including developing focused social media actions for building brand awareness, attracting, engaging, and ultimately, boost sales.
- Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Service etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate strategic actions.
- Monitor the latest social media trends and ensure an innovative, best-in-class social media level.
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications, Marketing.
**Qualifications**:
- Fluent in social media with hands-on skills and knowledge of multiple social media platforms, as well as awareness of current trends.
- Experienced in creating and delivering a social media plan.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, SEO, storytelling.
- +/- 3 years of social media experience, including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
- Proven ability to forecast, monitor, and maintain social media budgets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced company that’s exponentially growing
- Competence with networking tools such as for example Hootsuite, HubSpot, Buffer,... to manage several social media accounts from a single dashboard
- Open to travel to meetings and events and to work with different time zones
- You are fluent in English; any other language is a plus
- Excellent time-management skills
